This according to the SDO is a symbolic thank you from the State of Cameroon for her contribution in the socioeconomic growth in the lives of rural women in the last 15 years as a volunteer in Cameroon. The chief Executive officer told her that with this recognition from government, much is still expected from Dr. Senta in the days ahead.

To Dr. Senta the recognition came as a surprise to her given she was just doing what she thought was right to change the lives of women in rural areas. She says it was a surprise because she least expected that her works with women groups could attracted so much attention from persons in high places not to talk of awarding medals three at a time. Given her recent exploit in dull making, Dr. Senta said the innovations and other inputs in this domain are yielding great dividends among the women who learned the arts. Cameroonian Dulls is said to best sellers in the Diasporas given the expertise with which they are made. The German Dull maker appreciated the uniqueness of the medal award and remarked that though she was going back to Germany though advanced in age she is still will to do more. Dr. Senta promised to keep in touch and would not hesitate to recommend other volunteers to come work with the women.
According to Mr. Njini Victor Coordinator of the Center of Appropriate Technology CAT who accompanied Dr. Senta for the medal award in Wum, the person who championed the Award of medals to Dr. Senta was no other than H.E Chief Dr. Leshi the Ambassador who has been doing a lot in Bafmen which includes running a Botanic garden.
