The Emblematic Ntumfor Barrister Nico Halle,
Visible steam of an impending
celebration is emanating from the inner bolt of the iconic international legal
luminary, Ntumfor Barrister Nico Halle as he clocks 30 years of service to the
nation and to humanity at large, come May 4. 2016. This grand event shall take
place in Douala which his base as a legal practitioner of the SHALOM
international law firm and would be dubbed “A Thank You Ceremony” especially to
those who accompanied and facilitated his endeavor to serve the nation above
all the Media.
Buttressing on the question of
treatment to private press in Cameroon, Ntumfor Nico Halle wonders aloud
persons in high places would pretend to discourage the gombo syndrome without
making available alternative in the form of substantial subsidies. In other
countries in Africa the government pumps in an annual budget for private press
some times to the tune of FCFA 4 billion but in Cameroon what use to given has
instead dwindled down to FCFA 120 Million to over 600 media houses. Ntumfor
made it clear that men and women of the media deserve everything better than
what they get given that they do too much for nothing and when you treat a
journalist shabbily expect a shabby report in return. At events he noticed that
the State run radio and Television take away all the allocation for the media
leaving peanuts to reporters of the private press.
It should be noted that Ntumfor
Barrister Nico Halle whom many describe as a phenomenon has in the last thirty
years contributed enormously to nation building first as a lawyer of
exceptional class who always cautions any client to reconsider the option of a
peaceful settlement before heading to court. In this manner hundreds of
families and friends were brought together than tearing them apart in court
which earned him the title peace crusader. With a morality check machine
embedded in his DNA, Ntumfor Nico Halle would not hesitate to turn down
hundreds of millions offered to defend a case that would jeopardize his
integrity as a moralist and vivid case is that of Former Government Delegate of

do same. He stood tall on the position of the church on the gay question. Today
he Ntumfor Nico Halle is at the helm of general assembly of the Cameroon Bar
association as President. The strides are enormous given the grandiose the
association is swimming in with the presence of Ntumfor Nico Halle.
From information gotten from the
inner cycle states that many dignitaries shall be in attendance as well members
of the diplomatic corps and conspicuously the press shall own the day.
