Asah Mbenkum William the President elect of the Christian Men
Fellowship (CMF) of the Presbyterian Church of Cameroon (PCC) on a maiden visit
to Mezam Presbytery has called on CMF members to shun any temptation that might
cause them to touch God’s money. He was speaking at the premises of PC
Ntambessi in Nkwen on June 20th as he met foe executive meeting with
Presidents of CMF Mezam to elaborate on the plan of action NATCOM. He elaborated
that following the Secretariat project that was launch on his inauguration in
PC Kumbo last year, there are ongoing contributions by Christians which
requires that probity in the handling of these sums must be the order of day.
According to the Natcom President, God’s money should only be
used to carry out project that promotes evangelization of the gospel and more
so members of CMF would work well if they are in a good working environment.
The Secretariat project when realized would move the CMF movement many steps
ahead. He called on all members to give his team the much needed support to
realize all earmarked projects. Asah Mbenkum William reiterated that almost all
Natcom Presidents have come from the North West region meaning God has
something to say in the choice of the region. Hear him, “our choice to start
this visit in Mezam Presbytery is not an accident. Mezam Presbytery is not only
the heartbeat of the movement but remains the Presbytery whose members offered
leadership to the movement in its early years of existence.” CMF is said to be
waxing strong since the new team took over though there are challenges and
difficulties believing in the divine hand of the lord to lead the movement to
higher height.
Talking on what his team has been able to do since they took
office, the President said they have ensured that CMF is actively involve in
the joint production of the new study book in all phases. Ensure that all CMF
materials are in stock to satisfy the desires of CMF members. Gain control over CMF financial accounts and
are presently computing the unpaid production shares and taking appropriate
measures for progressive programming and payment. Having endorsed the plan for
the construction of the national secretariat and its attached offices and residence
there is an imminent visitation of the new site at church hill for work to
start. With an account at UNICS the movement has been able to raise FCFA
3.011.131 as contribution is ongoing. The President thanked all those who have
so far contributed this far and called all to put hands on deck for God’s work
and purpose. CMF he says has potentials that should be harness and used for
God’s purpose.
