Bamenda “Biya Must Go” Advocate Arrested At Own Wake Keep

It was 9 pm Tuesday night at City Chemist Roundabout opposite Eden Newspaper Officer Bamenda venue of a wake keep pending a predicted dead on the 29th of July that the entire security operative of the North West Region was mobilized to arrest the organizer, Reverend Kisob Bertin, National President of the Cameroon party for Social Justice, CPSJ. Amidst helpless mourners who were in high spirit gulping the drinks and chewing soya after a rites had been performed by a fellow politician Teche Nyamusa, Kisob was forcefully taken away to an unknown destination.

The Security operatives first appear in plain cloths and told Kisob that he should accompany them to the Governor who was waiting for him at the office. When Kisob and Teche tried to enquire why the Governor would want to see him at that hour in his office. They reminded him that they are just executing orders from hierarchy and wouldn’t know until they meet the Governor. Kisob resisted and reinforcement was called in, this time a heavy armed Police contingent who wasted no time to whisk him away in the Police truck.  Mourners and some curious reporters who flooded the strange wake keep stayed on and were given assurance that Kisob would be back after meeting the governor. Next day after waiting in vain, a team of reporters stormed the Governor’s office to enquire the where about of Reverend Kisob Bertin who was picked the night before by the Police on supposed invitation by the Governor. The respond they got from the Secretary General Absalom Monono, was that he was getting it for the first time and has to find out for himself. After narrating to him that Kisob was arrested at a wake keep organized by him pending his own dead on July 29. The secretary General laughed out his lungs describing the strange initiative as madness saying such a move would only be taken by a desperate politician who is the only militant of his party and wants to pull a fast one on government probably to share in the national cake.

History now has it that Kisob Bertin is the first person on mother Earth to preside over his own wake keep while still alive. This same Kisob had once announced his own dead and later disguised as his party Secretary General using same phone number to text people soliciting for financial assistance. Before long he showed up and the big joker is at it again this  time prophesying his own dead.  The wake keep was in anticipation to a solo sit down demonstration at the nation’s capital in front of post central opposite Hilton hotel where he was sure would be killed by the overzealous security men. He had accused the government of President Paul Biya of not capable of delivering the much expected goods. According to Kisob the government is made up very old people who do think of the well fare of the citizens anymore.

According to information gathered from the security men, Kisob had tricked them in to believing that he had obtained an authorization from Yaoundé to organize the wake keep and it turned out that it was a lie when calls started streaming in from Yaoundé. The security read a lot of meaning in the declarations by Kisob and could not take chances especially at this time when Boko Haram sect is so uncertain when to strike next. Kisob is seen as a bird dancing on the road while the drummers are in the bush. Many are questioning why he choose to stage the demonstration only on the day when Nigerian President, Muhamandu Buhari is visiting and just opposite Hilton where President Buhari is expected to be hosted. Public opinion holds that the security is holding Kisob and would probably release him after the 29^th of July just to avoid any eventuality. As we go to press it was revealed to BN that Kisob was upon instruction from the central administration whisked off to Yaounde, the nations capital to keep a close eye on him.
