Councilor Adamu Musa talking Development
Three Councilors of the Nkambe
Council in Binshua Constituency have continue to make news by making lives
better for their people from the council microgrants introduced by Mayor Ngabir
Paul Bantar in his municipality. The three from Binshua are Councilors Adamu
Musa (Veteran Journalist), Musa Mbulih (Businessman) and Eveline Mulih (Teacher)
who have not only embarked on feasible projects for their people but have done
so in recorded time frame.
Last two months a modern pit toilet
constructed at the Binshua Market by the trio with their microgrant was handed
to the people of Binshua and this day, all the final year pupils of all the
primary schools received registration fee for both Common entrance Examination
and the First school leaving Certificate examination. This was aimed at easing
the burden on parent given the economic hardship especially now that cash flow
is a serious problem. Going by what Mayor Ngabir has always preached thus small
drops make an ocean and the philosophy of putting the people first is what
would drive the development of Nkambe municipality to the next level.
Binshua Parents
accompany Pupils To Recieve Scholarship
Happy parents who accompanied the
beneficiaries to the venue where the benefactors had assembled them and
envelops handed to each kid, were all smiles. This to them was proof that their
choice of Councilors in the last election was not in error given that they are
delivering the goods as promised in 2013 campaigns. In the same light Councilor
Kila Godlove of Bih had donated roofing sheets in his village for community
development likewise Councilor Shey Musa Nfor who constructed a wooden bridge
to facilitate access to the health center of the area in Nwangri same with
Councilor George Chifu. Mayor Ngabir with another Councilor joinly constructed
a bridge in his constituency to the tune of FCFA 1000.000. The Councilor of Konchep
has engaged his microgrants in the construction of a giant bridge to link the
people of his area to the rest of the municipality and would require additional
funding to realize the project. Impressed by what the Councilors are doing,
Mayor Ngabir holds that if things move on well, the microproject grants that
started with FCFA 250.000 and now FCFA 500.000 to each Councilor would some day
equal to the FCFA 8 million recieved by Parliamentarians. The small money big
change is creating rapid impact in the communities and the Mayor called on
other Councilors to hasten up with their own projects before the close of the
year 2016. The mayor made it clear that the council shall continue with the
participatory approach and that any community that want to attract Council
assistance for any project, should start doing the project then the council
will come in.
