Impressed by what the Councilors are doing, Mayor Ngabir holds that if things move on well, the microproject grants that started with FCFA 250.000 and now FCFA 500.000 to each Councilor would some day equal to the FCFA 8 million recieved by Parliamentarians. The small money big change is creating rapid impact in the communities and the Mayor called on other Councilors to hasten up with their own projects before the close of the year 2016. The mayor made it clear that the council shall continue with the participatory approach and that any community that want to attract Council assistance for any project, should start doing the project then the council will come in.
