At 6th Matriculation Ntumfor Nico Halle Denounced Immorality Among UBa Freshmen, Students

Ntumfor Barrister Nico Halle, GA President
Peace is a state of an environment in tranquillity; peace is wholesome and is an asset for every person and nation to foster development. Mathew 5:9 states that blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God. Mahamat Ghandi, Abraham Lincoln, Martin Lutherking and Nelson Mandela are some of the people who had peace as a way of life. Peace is a product of justice and love. Education without morality is training clever devils. Peace is quintessentially a weapon of the strong, wise, intelligent and patriots whereas violence is weapon of the lunatics and the good for nothing who use it to make up for their emptiness and incapability. As students of this reputable institution, do well to conduct yourselves in the right manner. Have love and integrity. Avoid sex, this is not a place for sex, love your fellow students but do not have sex. Keep your virginity intact for the appropriate time; focus on your study which is what has brought you here. Do not allow yourselves to be destroyed by some misguided fellows.” This and more were words of encouragement and caution from the guest speaker at the 6th matriculation of Freshmen in the University of Bamenda UBa in the person Ntumfor Barrister Nico Halle, the renowned legal luminary, President of the General assembly of the Cameroon Bar Association and celebrated peace crusader in his presentation of an academic discuss with a theme peace integrity and justice which he termed it a spiritual discuss.
The towering personality told the newcomers that a University institution is where raw knowledge is transformed in to finish product for public consumption. Students should look up to their lecturers as role models in every form of it. Ntumfor Nico Halle, shared his cardinal guiding principles that has helped to mould him in to the person that he is today. Humility, Honesty Respect for others, hard work and the Fear of the Lord are the guiding principles passed on to his person by his father. They should avoid cyber criminality and that social media has influenced so many young people in to wrong thinking and doing though it is a useful tool for research. Ntumfor said he is not on facebook and would not wish to be there. Any backstabber belongs behind so called on the Vice Chancellor to continue in the spirit integrity demonstrated in raising over 200 million for UBa-DEF. The vice Chancellor should pay less attention enemies of progress that must surely come up.
He reminded the young students that he did not just appear from nowhere to be what he is but that he too passed through University training. Taking self as an example, Ntumfor Nico Halle held the Freshmen spell bound in his discuss saying he has been going round the country giving talks at conferences and to University students he has never and would never sleep with any student. To him anybody like a lecturer who is shepherd and goes down for carnal gratis with a child entrusted in his or her care, belongs to the gutters. He lauded the lecturers of UBa for being very responsible given that he has not heard any such scandal emanating from UBa.
Freshmen and students should dream big and focus on their dreams given that hard work and determination are the main key factor to success. Student milieu should not be infiltrated by politicians and that they should not be influenced to import what is common elsewhere to jeopardize the peace that reigns.
On her part the Vice Chancellor, Professor Theresia Akenji congratulated the freshmen saying this institution of learning welcomes all of them and they should conduct themselves in the most likeable manner there is. With the new intake suming up to a total student population of above 19.500 up from 16000 last year, there is absolute need for tolerance and patience. UBa has 250 permanent staff and 500 part time and support staff to carry out the task of moulding these young brains.
